Come ready with questions, hair goals and ideas as we get familiar before we embark on our protective style & natural texture journey together. Finding a good stylists is like finding a good Doctor. You want to know who you're working with, what they offer, what they stand for and how they plan to support you.
Enjoy a cup of tea, a snack, a chill playlist and a genuine vibe check; as we chat about your hair history, hair goals challenges, lifestyle & abilities. We'll talk, texture, porosity, density style options & products that will result in a full work-up and hair diagnostic so you can feel confident, informed and comfortable with scheduling your first appointment.
At Texture Society-it's important that clients be a part of the hair care experience. I don't just do your hair, I support your journey and guide you to developing a positive and healthy relationship with your hair. Because after all-when you're not being styled-you should know how to take care of the strands growing out of your head.
All consults receive a $25 Service Credit towards future appointments.
Please be sure to arrive on time and with loose hair. (a ponytail or French braids are fine)
If you would like a Basic Wash Service, you may book it as an add-on.
For standard consults (without a wash) we will be doing test strands with water and product, parting, combing and getting to the root of things. Please do not arrive with product. It is suggested that you wash your hair prior to the appoint UNLESS you are booking the Basic Wash Service.
