We grew tired of hearing that the cost of a great style was compromising our health with hidden toxins and chemicals. And many of us have experienced it-trading a dope style for headaches, snatched edges, damage, breakage and being able to feel our thoughts after an appointment at the "hair braiding salon".

I've heard the tea. Texture Society is the answer. As a Black Woman-Owned brand, Texture Society was founded on a simple, powerful belief: beauty should not be damaging, painful or toxic. I set out to create a haven for those seeking a healthier, more luxurious alternative and a community where we can celebrate our African-American hair history and culture.

For 20 years I have been the kitchen stylist, doing hair for family and friends. Now it's time to share my passion and gifts with the world. Committed to providing only 100% human hair, always fairly sourced and ethically traded. Texture Society celebrates natural beauty by offering a curated collection of curls, waves, kinks, coils, locs and textures, each one meticulously designed to blend flawlessly and move naturally with your own.
